I was looking through some images of Dallas interior painting projects that our company has recently completed… I found a common thread among the pictures that I liked. Many of the rooms had accent stripes painted either as a border near the ceiling or at around four to five feet high.
One thing to consider from a homeowner’s perspective is that if you want an accent wall or stripe it is a marginal cost increase when added to the cost of interior painting. For instance, the price for painting your child’s room a light blue will cost you $250 to $350 for a contractor to do the job (that price should include the cost of paint in my opinion). So you want to add an accent wall or stripe, add another $75 and that should take care of the cost of a quart of paint and the additional labor.
For an estimate of what your project will cost post it on DFWforhire.com and you can get multiple bids without having to meet with multiple contractors.
